Not all burgers are created equal. Juicy meat, delicious rolls and a unique sauce make a good burger. In London, you will find countless variations of this popular fast food meal. Many restaurants specialize in burgers, but you will also find numerous stalls offering delicious burgers at the popular food markets.
It’s best to always follow your nose. Anyway eating a burger is never boring. It is not easy to decide the best with the many burger shops, so we will tell you our favourite locations.
Not only delicacies for the stomach but also for the eyes are offered here. The unusual design of the stores is trendy and colourful, and there is a large selection of tasty burgers and fries. The MEATliquor also has vegan burgers. They look good and even taste outstanding. The beef and chicken burger are around £ 9, and the vegan burger is around £ 7. If there is still room in the stomach, I recommend the Filth Pie. It’s a cake made from oreo, marshmallows and coconut and is served with ice. The sweet dessert is just delicious.
Address: 74 Welbeck St, Marylebone, London W1G 0BA
2. Bite Me Burger Co
The shop specializes in burgers with its motto, “making the world a burger place.” The beef comes from Spain, and the cows live outside and therefore feed on fresh grass. There are small mini burgers to try out. Two mini burgers cost £ 8.50. You can also get other fast food here such as hot dogs, french fries and milkshakes. For the vegans among you, there are also dairy-free burger rolls. The milkshakes come highly recommended, especially the one with oreo.
Address: 1 Adelaide Rd, Chalk Farm, London NW3 3QE
3. Patty & Bun
High-quality American burgers and drinks in a stylish ambience await you in the London branches in Liverpool Street, London Fields and Soho. There is also a variety of homemade lemonades and milkshakes. In addition to delicious burgers, they also have the best chicken wings. Also, pay attention to the promotions because they often have burgers for £ 5 or two cocktails for £ 10. Students also get a 20% discount here. Also, keep your eyes open because, near the Patty & Bun Locations, you will find Patty & Bun stickers at randomly selected places. When you have found a sticker, all you have to do is peel off the small cover on the right and show it in the store, and you’ll get a free burger of your choice.
Address: 22/23 Liverpool St, London EC2M 7PD
4. Honest Burger London
Originally from Brixton, Honest Burger’s classically minimalist branches are spread all over London. Nevertheless, sauces and fries are made by hand. A classic burger is available here for £ 9. All other burgers here cost around £ 11. There is also a menu for children. The little ones can look forward to a mini burger, fries and delicious juice. The meat is always prepared well, especially for children, unless you wish otherwise. There are also gluten-free buns.
Address: 3 Southampton St, London WC2E 7HE
5. Mac & Wild
The Scottish restaurant, not far from Oxford Street, specializes in meat. Here you can eat one of the best burgers in London. In addition to burgers, the menu also includes steaks and Scottish specialities from the Highlands. A burger at Mac & Wild costs around £ 12. You can order side dishes such as salad, chips or potatoes separately. The drinks menu can also be seen. Here you will find over 120 whiskeys and a large selection of Scottish craft beers, gins and Scottish cocktails. The right furnishings ensure a modern, rustic flair.
Address: 65 Great Titchfield St, Fitzrovia, London W1W 7PS
6. Haché Burgers London
The noble restaurant chain serves burgers at a great price-performance ratio. Prices for a burger start from £ 8. There are also delicious steakburgers, and if you like to eat low carb, you can replace the bun with a salad. My absolute favourite burger here is the steak truffle with caramelized onions, Gruyère cheese and of course truffle aioli. Sounds delicious, doesn’t it? This burger costs £ 11. Avocado lovers get their money’s worth here too. Some burgers have avocado as a topping. There is also brunch at the Haché on weekends.
Address: 147 Curtain Rd, London EC2A 3QE
7. Dip & Flip
Is refining burgers not possible? Yes, with even more sauce! The burger or the fries are dipped and then flipped into the mouth. There is a delicious selection of sauces for dipping, such as sauce with mint, horseradish or garlic. When it comes to meat, you can prefer lamb, beef or chicken. A burger here costs around £ 8. Classic burgers such as the Cheese Burger or Bacon Cheese Burger are also on the menu. And if you like it particularly spicy, you should definitely try the Hot Buffalo Chicken Wings. In addition to the location in Battersea, you can also find the burger restaurant in Wimbledon, Tooting and Brixton.
Address: 87 Battersea Rise, London SW11 1HW
8. Bhangra Burger
The Camden Market is a great food spot. Many visitors, including us, go to Camden Market just for the delicious food. The market offers freshly prepared dishes from different countries: Mexican, Chinese, Arabic, South American, Thai and much more. And of course, there is also one or two burger stands. The street food scene is powerful here. One of my favourite burgers is the one from Bhangra Burgers. The burgers are refined with oriental spices and have an exceptional aroma. One of the other sauce is pretty spicy, so if you don’t like this, you should pay attention to it when ordering.
Address: West Yard, Camden Lock Place, London NW1 8AF
9. Burger & Lobster London
Three school friends opened the restaurant in 2011, which focuses on two dishes: burger and lobster. Of course, there is also a delicious lobster burger and costs £ 23. The restaurant is now found in Leicester Square, in Bond Street, in Knightsbridge and Soho. The quality of the meat and the lobster is really excellent in all locations.
Address: 10 Wardour St, London W1D 6QZ
10. Bleecker Burger
You can feast on delicious street food burgers outside under the roof at the cool location directly under the Hungerford Bridge. There is an excellent selection of different fries, for example, with blue cheese sauce. They are just super delicious.
But be careful: the cool location is unfortunately not open all year round, but only from May to September. But don’t worry, you don’t have to do without the Bleecker Burger, because luckily there are other locations. For example, in Spitalfields or Victoria. The burgers at Bleecker Burger cost between £ 6 and £ 10. The quality is excellent. The meat is sourced from small UK farms.
Address: Under the Bridge, Riverside Level, Royal Festival Hall, The Queen’s Walk (opening hours are May-September)
Spitalfields Address: Old Spitalfields Market, Unit B SP 4, London E1 6EA
